Fall Events You Don’t Want to Miss

No matter what time of year, Fort Bend County is always bustling with fun family events. But nothing is quite like the October fall festivities and Halloween celebrations. These fall events are all happening within 15 minutes of Long Meadow Farms.

Food Truck Friday on October 13th

Whatcha Cravin Food Truck will be parked at the Richmond Fire Department from 11 am to 2:00 pm for Food Truck Friday.

Needville Harvest Fest on October 20th

Harvest Park comes alive the third Saturday in October every year as thousands of people take part in the fun and entertainment. Activities include lawn mower racing, corn shucking, BBQ cook-off and more.

Hallows Day on October 28th

At the 1890s Davis Victorian Mansion in George Ranch Historical Park, stop by the cemetery to make a gravestone rubbing and learn about the elaborate traditions of Victorian-era funerals. Explore the somber and slightly spooky decorations in the Davis Mansion itself then trick-or-treat across the Park! 

Halloween Town on October 29th

An evening of family friendly frights including a haunted horse and carriage ride and other scare-friendly surprises at the at Sugar Land Town Square. This event is free and open to the public.

Ghosts & Grub on October 31st

Visit the George Ranch Historical Park for a nighttime Halloween event like no other. When the night falls, adults and children 12+ are invited to join us for a spooking-ly delightful dinner followed by candlelight walking tour of the Park to hear ghost stories from the past and some of the ghostly encounters told by the staff over the years.
